Alex was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. She spent her first two years of High School attending Thunderbird HS and then transferred to Horizon HS. She is involved in student council, Spanish club and was a cheerleader Freshman year. She was Secretary of student council for two years and was Chairperson of the Blood Drive. Her family consists of her older sister who is starting her first year of college and a step brother who attends Horizon with her. Last Summer she had her best vacation yet at Mission Beach with 4 friends. They stayed in a beach house and spent lots of time at the beach.
Alex enjoys working with special needs children and hopes to become a special needs teacher after college. She was inspired after volunteering at a special needs school with her cheer team. Her family and friends are very important to her. Her friends have impacted her life, and her bond with her family is very special. As a child she spent most of her time in the water and was a competitive diver so chlorine is in her blood. She has been teaching swim lessons at Hubbard since August 2016. She works at Hubbard because she absolutely adores children and loves teaching. Being able to teach them in the water is an absolute bonus!
