Summer Recreational Team
This summer program provides amazing opportunities as your children learn to be part of a team. Every swimmer will collect a boatload of ribbons as fun and  success is emphasized! Rec Team includes dual and championship meets. Practices are Monday through Thursday. You commit to one practice time, team  and location.
Registration Process
Priority Registration (current swimmers and siblings)
Monday, February 20th
  • call or stop by the Front Desk
  • submit Consent and Waiver Form
Open Registration (past or new swimmers)
Monday, March 5th
  • submit Registration Requests as early as Monday, February 13th
  • Registration Forms are processed Monday, March 5th

2012 Rec Team Practice Schedule
May 29 - July 11 
All practices will meet on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday. Practices are cancelled if scheduled at the same time as a meet.
Practices are typically consolidated during the last week of the season due to the championship schedule. Available workout times vary by location.

Nutrition for Swimmers
How Much? What Ages?
Cost $230 per swimmer

Ages (age as of May 29, 2012) Children between the ages of 5 and 12 can participate. Five is the absolute minimum age to participate in Rec Team and swimmers must be at the lobster level or above.

Coaches work from the deck and are not in the water with the swimmers. 

Swimmers age 5-10
swim 25-yard races (1 length of the pool)

Swimmers age 11-18
swim 50-yard races (2 lengths of the pool)
Additional Workouts (OPTIONAL)
Stroke Clinics
90 minute workouts focused on technique. A great way to get a head start on Rec Team.

Start Clinics
These sessions are designed to give kids a chance to practice starts from starting blocks that cannot be done at our indoor pools because our water is only 4 feet deep.
